Fluffy Chicks Mother and Toddler Group
Fluffy Chicks meets every Tuesday during school term time 9.30 - 11.45 at Damerham Village Hall.
There is a wide variety of activities for pre-schoolers, crafts, music, and a dedicated, well equipped area for babies.
£2.00 per session includes a drink and healthy snack for the little ones and tea or coffee for the parents and carers.
All are very welcome!

The Parish Council meets every other month (January, March, May, July, September and November) on the second Monday of the month in the Village Hall at 7:30 p.m.
The meetings are open to residents and there is an opportunity at the beginning of each meeting for residents who are on the electoral roll of the Parish to address the Council.
Ringwood and Fordingbridge Club For The Blind
We provide services for blind and visually impaired persons living in the Ringwood and Fordingbridge areas, including Damerham. The club meets at the Greyfriars Activities Centre, Ringwood twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursday from 2 - 4 pm. Transport, afternoon tea and entertainment is provided. We also have a team who visit housebound members to offer help and advice. New members and volunteers are always welcome.

The Western Downland Primary School has an Infants School in Damerham and a Juniors School in Rockbourne.
Shopping In And Around Damerham
There is a small shop attached to the Garage in Bridge Street which sells soft drinks, ice cream and confectionery.
There is a Village Store in Sandleheath which incorporates a sub Post Office.
It offers an “open all hours service” which means if the shop lights are on (probably up to approx 9:30pm and most of Sunday) you may ring the shop door bell and someone will come and serve you.
The nearest town for shopping is Fordingbridge which has a wide range of shops including a Co-Op, Tesco Express, a barber, hairdresser and DIY shops.
Some shops in Fordingbridge close at lunch time on Thursdays.
The Internet And Broadband
Broadband is available in Damerham (the exchange is Rockbourne, BT code STROCKB).
As a guide only, it is possible to get speeds of around 2Mbps to 3Mbps in the High Street. The speed available is dependent on the length of the telephone line from the exchange and its condition.

Waste Collection/Disposal, Recycling Centre
Household rubbish is collected on Thursdays in most of the village, although it is Monday for Lopshill, Lower Daggons, a couple of South End properties, The Common and Boulsbury
Recycling bags (paper, cardboard, cans, plastic bottles etc.) are collected on the same day.

Cardboard, paper, and plastic should be placed in the clear recycling bags which are supplied by NFDC.
There are paper and glass recycling containers in the lay-by on the road between Damerham and Sandleheath and also in the car park in Fordingbridge (behind the Co-Op).
